Play and expression stimulate healthy psychosocial development. Through play, constructive coping mechanisms are strengthened and positive peer interaction is stimulated. In conflict situations, opportunities for children to play and express are often limited or denied altogether.
War Child increases opportunities for play and expression by creating safe play areas, organizing creative and sport activities and stimulating the set up of child/youth clubs.
