War Child in the Middle East
War Child’s main aim in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) and Israel is to improve the psychosocial wellbeing of children and adolescents traumatized by the ongoing conflict through drama, fine arts, music, sports and life skills trainings and to promote child rights. We also support an atmosphere of peace and dialogue, in a way that children get to understand the ‘other’. Changing negative perceptions and attitudes between the Palestinian and Jewish communities is one of the main objectives. War Child therefore financially supports eight local organizations.
