War Child’s overall objectives are to enhance the general well-being of children and young people in (post) conflict-affected areas and contribute to building peaceful societies.
Our interventions contribute to the general well-being of children by improving their psychosocial well-being. Ultimately, this enhances the peace building capacities of war torn societies. War Child aims to strengthen the protective factors, which are at the core of the organisation’s approach, by reaching the following results. Depending on the specific problem analysis, as well as the available resources, several of the below mentioned results are incorporated into each War Child program.
