Colombian children draw their future

More than 450 children of 5 regions from Colombia (Valle del Cauca, Cauca, Putumayo, Bogotá y Chocó) are participating in the National Drawing Festival. A festival organised by War Child and partner organisations to promote child participation and to stimulate creativity of different ages, regions and ethnics. Children are invited to draw how they see their future. And to write a story that explains their ideas.

There is alsoa committee consisting of regional and national representatives that will make a selection of drawings that will be exhibited in 2014. The best drawings will also be printed in a memory book.

The Festival is organised together with six of our Colombian partners: Fundescodes, Corporación Casa Amazonía COCA,  Talentos, Cecidic,  Pandi and Pastoral Social Indígena.
