The Kili-Challenge 2018

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro on behalf of War Child. On your way to the summit you're collecting as much money as you possibly can, to save children affected by war… That is what the Kili-Challenge is all about. You can put together your own team, or join other soloists. Are you ready for the ultimate challenge!?

You love adventure, you're eager to put out a great performance. Change is more than welcome. Well in that case, you will definitely enjoy the Kili-Challenge offered to you by War Child. You are invited to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and while you’re at it, collect as much money as you can to help war children. You will pay for your own trip, and War Child will challenge you to raise that sum by at least € 2,400 through sponsorships. Join the Kili Challenge and help war children feel safe again. To make sure you are perfectly ready to climb Africa’s highest mountain (5,895m) not only physically, but mentally as well, War Child is offering you an inspiring programme. In September we will be organising the first out of at least three get-togethers. We will help you collect funds and make sure you are physically ready (e.g. 1-weekend training in the Belgian Ardennes).

Moving mountains for war children

It’s gonna be tough for sure, but impressive at the same time. That is a promise. The Kili Challenge will call upon all of your skills and senses, inviting you to excel. You will follow in the footsteps of over 250 heroes, who have climbed this giant for War Child before. Tired but satisfied, they have reached their targets, marvelling at the rising sun from the rooftop of Africa. The three previous editions of the War Child Kili-Challenge have exceeded all expectations. Thanks to our participants, War Child has been able to help out thousands of children, offering them a better future.

There are three departure dates: 20, 23 and 29 January, 2018. Departure date 23 January is an international group and the going language is English.
