Restoring Hope Through Education

In 2021, we tackled the global education crisis head on to meet the urgent needs of 648,477 children and adults living with the effects of armed conflict.

Other key highlights:

  • We saw our income grow by €6.7 million to total €50.3 million - €40 million of which was spent directly in support of conflict-affected children
  • From social and emotional learning to peace education, we spearheaded a variety of emerging education approaches to ensure children could embrace their right to learn - and their right to a healthy mind
  • We welcomed a new CEO to the family - Ramin Shahzamani, who drove forward a new way of working within our rapidly evolving Global Shared Platform
