Our Annual Report
Innovation in Times of Crisis
We found new and creative ways to meet the urgent needs of 293, 681 children and adults living with the effects of armed conflict. Through our COVID-19 emergency response, we were able to reach some 5.9 million more.
In 2020, War Child...
- Rallied thousands of volunteers and local staff to put our new Fast Aid framework into action - reaching more children more quickly than ever before
- Drew upon the innovative nature of our flagship EdTech programme Can’t Wait to Learn to see children - everywhere from Lebanon to Uganda - continue their learning journey remotely
- Made our message resonate with young people all over the globe thanks to local celebrities such as Afrobeat star Check-B Magic and Youtuber and War Child Ambassador Quinty Misiedjan
